No extra compelling evidence of disaster will be discovered than the staggering crime statistic: a 560 percent improve in violent crimes since the 1960s. Having worked in the sector of crime and prisons for seventeen years, I especially applaud Bill Bennett’s conclusion that crime is at root a ethical problem: the inevitable value a culture pays for abandoning its ethical tradition and failing to inculcate character in its youth.
