To be eligible for Medicare Senior Services program, a person must be at least 65 years old. This requirement is in place to prevent fraud and abuse. In addition, the individual in question must be a citizen of the United States or a permanent resident of the country, and they must also possess a Social Security number that is both current and valid. These requirements must be met before the individual can be eligible for benefits. Because they are already receiving benefits from Medicaid, individuals currently enrolled in Medicaid are ineligible to participate in the Medicare Senior Service program. This is because individuals currently enrolled in Medicaid are already receiving benefits from Medicaid.
